Projects for Sutton Camera Club activities No. 2 for 2021. All photographs should have been taken with a start date from 24th September 2020 except photos for entry to 3 Club competition which can be from any date.

At least two images and three if possible

Mono image, anything you like.

Self-explanatory.

An Interesting Pattern.

Self-explanatory.

27th Feb

A reflection but not from a mirror.

Self-explanatory.

13th March

Textures.

 

Self-explanatory.

3rd April

Numbers or letters or a combination of same.

These could be street signs, bus numbers, door numbers etc.

Your "Competition Number" should appear on the back of the mount.

The "Title" of the entry should also be on the back of the mount.

·        Brightness,

·        Contrast,

·        Saturation,

·        How well does it fall within the brief/assignment?

Composition

 

·        Does the photograph tell a story?

·        Where is our eye led to in the photograph?

·        Is the photograph balanced, if not, is it creating the visual impact it should?

Do I like this photograph? (All Else Aside)

 

·        Like all art this is dependent on our own tastes, likes, dislikes and the way we see the world and experience it. It has nothing to do with how experienced photographer is. (Unfortunately)
